The Sewer Cats “Answer The Question” On New Single & Video

Answer the Question is the first single from The Sewer Cats debut album, Cute Aggression, which is set for release through TNSrecords on the 15th April. Answer the Question was born out of frustration with the catastrophe of a government and the endless lies upon lies. Its about trying to hold politicians to account while they weasel out of one shocking blunder after another.

Cute Aggression follows on from The Sewer Cats‘ frenetic 2020 debut EP, Zelda. Written during lockdown, Cute Aggression sees the band tread a darker path both lyrically and sonically, whilst embracing their wider musical influences. The result is a varied record that fuses The Sewer Cats‘ classic garage punk and riot grrrl roots with smatterings of hardcore, atmospheric post-rock, doom and emo-hardcore.
