The Sewer Cats Release Video for “Delia”
Manchester’s The Sewer Cats have released a new video for their single, Delia. It can be seen below.
Delia is the second single from the band’s debut album, ‘Cute Aggression’, which is set for release on TNSrecords on April 15th, 2022.
The song is a response to the famed Delia’s Gone song by Johnny Cash. The song, which was made famous by Cash, is originally a historic folk song based on a real 14-year-old African American murder victim who was shot by her boyfriend. The song has been passed through generations and is told from the killer’s pesperctive. Wanting to flip the script, The Sewer Cats tackle the same situation but from the point of view of Delia herself.
