The Sounds Sign To SideOneDummy, Plan New Album
Swedish new wave phenomenons, The Sounds have announced the release of their upcoming full-length. The LP, titled Something To Die For will be released March 29th in a joint venture with L.A.’s SideOneDummy Records and the band’s own label, Arnioki Records.
The release marks nearly ten years since their debut, Living In America. The album promises a heavier electronic evolution infused within the sassy punk/electro style the band is known for. The 10-song collection is the first LP to be solely produced by the band, who retreated to their native Sweden to write, produce and record it.
The Sounds are planning a set of U.S. shows to be timed with the release (details to be announced shortly).
