The Swellers Leave Fueled By Ramen, Announce 7″ On Side One Dummy

The Swellers announced over the weekend that they will be departing from Fueled By Ramen Records and will be releasing a new 7″ on May 29th through Side One Dummy Records.  The band also plans to self-release an EP later this year, before signing with a new label sometime in 2013.

Of the decision to leave Fueled By Ramen, the band released this statement:

We’ve had a good run with them and have a lot of appreciation and respect for everyone at the label. While we wish the staff and their bands the best of luck, we’ve come to the conclusion that being part of a major label just isn’t the right fit for us right now.
