Two years on from their 2023 album Irregularis (The Great Hiatus), Thee Headcoats have returned with a new record, The Sherlock Holmes Rhythm ’n’ Beat Vernacular, that features a dozen new cuts that were recorded last year at Ranscombe Studios in Rochester. The Sherlock Holmes Rhythm ’n’ Beat Vernacular coincides with the release of Man-Trap, a brand new album by Thee Headcoatees, which features the chaps on rhythm section duties. Utilising all the masculine wiles, suaveness and charm at their disposal, and through sheer determination and tenacity, Thee Headcoatees were dragged kicking and screaming (the things they do best) out of the woodwork to lay down the 14 brand new tracks that populate Man-Trap. The album is the first new material from Thee Headcoatees since 1999’s Here Comes Cessation.
