Dolly, the frontman and mainstay of Edinburgh’s Thirteen, has released his thirteen track solo album, The Story Of My Life. The album features thirteen tracks that have influenced Dolly that range from hard rock and metal to glam and punk, including tracks by Social Distortion, Supersuckers, Green Day and The Stooges to AC/DC, Motörhead, Judas Priest and Michael Monroe.

“The album contains 13 songs that I’ve at one time or another played in the various original bands I’ve been part of over the years. They also tell the listener who I am as a musician, and probably more importantly who I am as a person. It might sound glib to say, but these songs have soundtracked my life, brought me strength and solace in the dark times, and have kept me from settling for the easy life. Music was my first love, and these songs are the product of that love. I hope I have done the originals justice, and I hope you, dear listener, will find the enjoyment in them that I have.” (Dolly)
