Tours: The Slow Death (Ft. Dillinger Four, Ergs, Soviettes)
Minneapolis, Minnesota’s The Slow Death, which features Jesse Thorson, who is joined by punk heroes Paddy Costello (Dillinger Four), Mikey Erg (The Ergs), Annie Sparrows (The Soviettes) and Jonny C, have announced dates for a US tour in support of the recently released Turnstile Comix #1, the first in an ongoing comic book/7″ series from record label Silver Sprocket Bicycle Club. Acclaimed underground comic artist Mitch Clem illustrated 48 pages of Jesse Thorson’s greatest tour stories, and Silver Sprocket packaged it together with a 7″ of brand new songs from THE SLOW DEATH. The package is available on limited-eddition colored vinyl from the Silver Sprocket webstore.The Slow Death recently finished recording a brand new full-length entitled “Born Ugly Got Worse” that will be available via Kiss of Death Records this fall.
