Tours: Tom Morello To Support Upcoming Solo Release (U.S., U.K.)

Tom Morello is getting ready to tour in support of his second solo release, The Nightwatchman‘s World Wide Rebel Songs, which is due out on New West Records on August 30th. The new batch of songs features collaborations with Ben Harper, along with full-on electric instrumentation by Morello‘s back-up band The Freedom Fighter Orchestra.

Morello said on the new record:

“Troubled times call out for troubled songs. World Wide Rebel Songs is an album of rousing hopelessness and this time The Nightwatchman has brought along his electric guitar to tip the scales. I wanted to capture a vibe midway between Johnny Cash and Che Guevara, murder ballads and Molotov anthems.”
