Swansea upstarts Trampolene have returned with their new single ‘Oh Lover‘ that is now available via Peter Doherty‘s new label Strap Originals. ‘Oh Lover‘ follows hot on the heels of ‘Come Join Me In Life‘ and is the second track to be lifted from Trampolene‘s forthcoming summer album, and is the first to feature new drummer Jay Bone (Carl Barât & The Jackals). The video for ‘Oh Lover‘ was filmed at a Bedfordshire windfarm, with a nod to Cormac McCarthy‘s post apocalyptic novel The Road.

‘Oh Lover’ started as a one-way message from a boy to a girl about their long distance love affair, but as the Pandemic became the new reality, it morphed into a song about being apart indefinitely…but now in a world that was unrecognisable and where nothing made sense and everything has changed.
