Twin Berlin Stream Travis Barker-Produced EP
Connecticut’s garage rock band Twin Berlin have just released their new three song EP, There Goes My Virtue, on iTunes.
The EP, which can be heard below, was produced by Blink 182‘s Travis Barker as he handpicked them as the winner of Guitar Center’s Your Next Record. Your Next Record is an unsigned artist competition which saw more than 8,000 submissions and 100 finalists.
After an intense 8-week judging process, Barker personally chose Twin Berlin as the winner of the competition and the band flww to Los Angeles to work with Barker and record their debut EP. All songs were produced by Barker at Red Bull Studios in Los Angeles. Twin Berlin was also outfitted with all new gear by GuitarCenter and awarded $10,000 as part of their grand prize. Travis Barker explained what drew him to the band saying:
What drew me to Twin Berlin was their song. It was really catchy and stuck with me. We had a good time recording for GuitarCenter’s Your Next Record.
