Video: In Hearts Wake – ‘Badlands’

Australian metal/hardcore act In Hearts Wake have premiered a video for their track Badlands. The track will feature on their sophomore full length Skydancer, due for release on May 5th via Rise Records. The video follows a western theme telling the classic story of a search to recover lost gold. Vocalist Jake Taylor has said this about the song & video:

”Badlands is a modernised western tale of the ever classic and symbolic feud between cowboys & Indians…Written from the perspective of native outlaws: ‘we will make a stand’ against the invading miners who destroy the earth only for personal gain. IHW recently saw this first-hand whilst driving through the invasive Texan oil wells that drain the planet 24/7 in search of profit.”
