Getting Dumber Present “Dried Flowers” From Upcoming “Just A Second” EP
Perth trio, Getting Dumber struck the local scene in late 2022 putting their own spin on melody and power-chord driven punk…
MC Lars has posted the video for his track, “Twenty-Three.” The song comes from his 2009 album This Gigantic Robot Kills and is a serious subject for the normally satirical “laptop rapper.” The song looks back at Patrick Wood who died by suicide.
To that end, Lars partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for the video. He commented on the video and the partnership:
We contacted AFSP, an organization that had helped Patrick’s mother as she dealt with the loss of her son. We told them we wanted to make a video for ‘Twenty-three’ and asked if they wanted to join forces to spread our message of suicide prevention and survival after suicide. They loved the song and graciously pledged their support.
