We Are The Union Unveil New Album, Single
Los Angeles’s ska punk act We Are The Union have announced that they will release their upcoming full-length Ordinary Life on June 4th through Bad Times Records.
Recorded in Joshua Tree this past summer with producer Jon Graber (NOFX, Goldfinger) Ordinary Life tells the story of vocalist Reade Wolcott’s (she/her) coming out as a trans woman. The album can be pre-ordered here.
You can scroll down to watch the video for the first single, Morbid Obsession. The video was directed by Chris Graue (NOFX, The Bomb Pops). In the video, Reade is a zombie on a path towards acceptance, rising from the dead and leaving the person they were in the ground for good.
