Weezer To Play Blue Album or Pinkerton Front to Back At Riot Fest

Weezer will be playing either The Blue Album or Pinkerton in its entirety at this year’s Riot Fest during their headlining slot on October 9th at the Congress Theater in Chicago.  The choice as to which album they will be playing comes down to the choice of the fans based on votes collected  by Chicago’s WXRT radio station.

Voting will be sponsored by Chicago’s WXRT. Voting began today at WRXT.com and will remain open until September 26 at 10 a.m. CST. The winner will be announced September 26th at 12 noon on WXRT 93.1 FM as well as online.

When Weezer last appeared in Chicago, they played one album on each night but loads of fans were left in the cold when tickets sold out quickly. There are still tickets available for the Red Bull Riot Fest show while supplies last.
