Year Of The Knife Release New Single & Video ‘Virtual Narcotic’

Hardcore upstarts Year Of The Knife have announced their upcoming debut album “Internal Incarceration“, that is due out on August 7th, is now available for pre-order via Pure Noise Records. The Delaware-based outfit deliver unrelentingly heavy, metallic hardcore with deeply human and socially- conscious lyrics, the album’s first single “Virtual Narcotic” opens with a vicious metallic riff before launching into a blistering lament of modern over-reliance on social media that culminates in an undeniably crushing breakdown. The band also shared a second song from “Internal Incarceration“, ‘Sick Statistic‘ is a new version of a previously released compilation track that takes an empathetic view of the opioid crisis in America.
