In honor of Black Music Month, Los Angeles, CA band Zulu have recorded two new tracks as part of the Frequency x Spotify Singles collaboration. The band, who released the critically acclaimed record A New Tomorrow on Flatspot Records this past March, reworked the originally instrumental album track, Shine Eternally, and also contributed a cover of Slipknot‘s Wait And Bleed. For Shine Eternally the band gives the song an even funkier jazz vibe with a beautiful, mellow vocal contribution from fellow genre-bending artist King Isis. On Wait And Bleed the band exemplify their own heavy take on the classic track and you can tell they had a fun time recording it.

Zulu will head out on a European and UK tour this week, including appearances at Outbreak Fest, 2000 Trees Festival and Jera On Air Festival.
