Sheer Terror Unleash “Squat Diddler” Single
On the eve on their May 2026 European Tour, NYC's SHEER TERROR have released their new single, Squat Diddler, that…
Game Changer - Self Released
Dead Express are one of those band that have only ever caressed my ears on the very odd occasion, a track here or a track there, and sadly never a full albums worth of air time has been within my experience, so here’s where that changes and I get to make up for past indiscretions. I think I’m right in saying that this will be the fourth full album they have delivered upon the world (if wrong I’ll apologise later).

Game Changer is by definition exactly that, although I may not have given up enough of my precious time to catch all that went before, what of have heard is a drop back from what this albums brings to the top table. Driven by a Rock n Roll/Rock/Punk sound, this album takes aim straight at the heart of this, its soul feels like it’s with the likes of AC/DC, Motorhead or fellow Swedish rockers Beat City Tubeworks, a sweaty room rammed with hot bodies and hard rocking comes to mind as the the first few bars of ‘Roky’ hits the airwaves, an opening track that sets the tone and bar high. This theme continues right through the heart of this hard rockin album, songs that feel totally live, that energy and power flows like a tidal wave, ‘This Means War’ and ‘Heathen’ are two that give a dark and unforgiving air, then your slapped around the head by huge riffs and attitude in ‘Stay Hard’ and the title track ‘Game Changer’, both give mo quarter or respite for the listener.
If you feel want to have head hammered from wall to wall with pure unadulterated Rock n Roll whilst still feeling like you’ve dropped into the sleaziest bar in town, then bang this album on and turn it up to 11, you won’t even know your still at in the safety of your own home, better still go see em live, probably not a whole lot of difference either way, by the sound in these eleven tracks. What you’re not gonna get here is an eclectic mix of heavy, soft or even out on the edge, but its definitely worth the ride.
Out on April 28th head on over to the bands BANDCAMP to catch yourself a slice when it arrives.
