Dead Reynolds

Frontier - Self Released

Dead Reynolds come screaming out of East Anglia UK and have been throwing out their brand of Alt Rock/Melodic Punk since 2018, after releasing two singles in the form of ‘Dust’ and then ‘Souls’ the latter being the title track to their debut five track EP.

Fast forward to 2020 and now comes on 19th June, the release of the ‘Frontier’ four track EP.  Taking what they have learned from previously, Dead Reynolds have packed the whole thing with power, melody and all the rock riffage they can muster.

‘By Your Side’ sets us off, with its wall of sound that backs up a hugely passionate vocal, a vocal that defines the whole EP, a vocal that brings lyrics to life with its power and clarity of message, this gives the next track ‘P.S (I loathe You)’ a sense of anthemic quality, the uninhibited way in which the words are uttered and wrapped dramatically around a rock guitar powerhouse of a song, lends to this wonderfully.

Ending the EP are two classic sounding but with a fresh take tracks, ‘Bright Lights’ which throws out a huge chorus line and would stand out even in an arena setting, then ‘Lines’ which has been released as a single with accompanying video, the most melodic and memorable of all, it stands out for its mastery of their sound, it combines all of the previous sounds in one huge blow out.

What stands this band out from the crowd of, what quite frankly is a very crowded genre, is their deliverance and undoubted passion for what they do.
