A rose is blossoming, but no, it’s not in Tokyo. New Jersey, the garden state, have sprouted yet another amazing pop-punk band from its underground. It seems to be slowly catching and surpassing the musical scene which sunny California seems to own. Tokyo Rose have sprung up to grace SideCho Records with their debut, and highly anticipated release. Reinventing A Lost Art hits the streets on July 15th with 10 amazing tracks which are ready to be spun in your CD player.

Catchy melodies from this foursome rip through your ears track after track. Emotional pop-punk with fluent guitar rhythms backed up by steady drum riffs changing tune and speed when needed. Think of Fall Out Boy, and you’ll get a good idea of what to expect from Tokyo Rose.

Ryan Dominguez soars through vocal after vocal felling your head with catchy lyrics and harmonies. And forget about hearing songs about girl troubles like you hear a lot from pop-punk bands, instead Tokyo Rose sings songs about partying and staying up later, skipping past all the bullshit you see and going to the truth and taken wild chances; plus many more.

This 10 track debut CD is one which I do highly recommend everyone picks up. This young band of a little over 2 years will do good in the music scene. Their songs are made up of every aspect needed to create a catchy pop-punk song. After all, only the strong survive in Jersey.
