The Soviettes – Rarities
The short lived Soviettes are one of the best kept secrets in pop punk. They barely existed beyond five years, but pumped out three fantastic records ripe with hooks, harmonies, and a fantastically approachable appeal. The band has been defunct for a while now, but that hasn’t stopped them from releasing a fun little B-sides and rarities album. It might be nothing ground breaking, and certainly not up to the level of their true full lengths, but there’s still lots of fun to be found.
