It’s a beautiful night in the Peg as I head into the Royal Albert for my interview with These Arms are Snakes. What luck there they are eating…. Now I hate interrupting anyone especially if they are a hard working band chowing down on some great food from the Alberts kitchen but I do so anyways. It’s decided who will do the interview once supper is finished. Now the interview begins and before it does I happen to think these guys are so well mannered and polite; it’s nice to see a band that actually appreciates it when someone shows intrest.
Throughout the interview, we cover many topics such as there rocky relationship with Jade Tree Records as well thoughts on Underoath and many other things you will read about later.
After the interview, I went to go watch the opening bands and then comes TAAS….. They have transformed from well mannered and polite young men to an array of frantic, intense, and, well, crazy ass madmen playing music that will blow your mind. In the end beers were drunk, shots were shot and many a drop of blood (courtesy of Steve) was shed. Take the time to see these guys when they come through you town.
