Manchester Punk Festival Releases 38th Compilation
Manchester Punk Festival have released the 38th volume of their compilation series ahead of this year’s festival. Manchester Punk Festival Vol. 38 is…
Sacramento, CA’s Another Damn Disappointment have been a staple in the scene since their formation in 2001. The past years have been a rough ride, filled with hardships, heartbreak, and an overwhelming amount of pain: The loss of founding member and bassist Casey Marsullo in a car accident in 2016 was devastating. More than just a bassist, he was the driving force behind the band, always pushing them forward. Despite the heartbreak, they carried on, knowing that’s what Casey would have wanted. Instead of breaking, they turned grief into fuel and stillness into new energy. Now their new album, Bedlam, is almost here and the band have now shared the album’s lead single, All.
Recorded before the loss of their friend, Bedlam was carefully and professionally completed over the years, not as a shadow of the past, but as a powerful testament to their evolution. Mixed and mastered by Jason Livermore at the Blasting Room and featuring artwork by Joel Abad, it’s more than just another album, it’s a statement. It’s an album that proves some things just take time, and that’s exactly what makes them so damn good. Anyone who knows Another Damn Disappointment knows that they’re far from done.
