Black Water County have released Second Guessing, the third chapter in a series of singles leading to the self-release of their third studio album, The Only Life Worth Living, in November. The track is the most integral single release from the album to date, and inherently different to its predecessors, the frantic and thrilling of the album’s title track, and the tortured and frenetic nature of the banjo-led Cruel State Of Mind. The single features dual vocals from vocalist Shan Borovnicke Byrom and Hannah Greenwood (Creeper) who are complimented by cello, violin, viola and piano on a track that builds into a resounding and momentous crescendo.

This song with Black Water County came about very organically, when Shan reached out to me a few months ago wondering if I would be keen to feature on one of their forthcoming singles. I loved the song the first time I heard it, being a sucker for a ballad. It was great fun getting involved and embellishing the harmonies and the outro and also being a part of the video. Having worked with Zak Pinchin before, I knew the video would be great too!” (Hannah Greenwood)

To coincide with the album release in November, Black Water County will play a full headline UK tour which includes a hometown date at Bournemouth Old Fire Station on Saturday 16th December, the only show where they will be performing their new album in its entirety, complete with special guests, live strings and brass. The band have also announced that the first support for the Bournemouth date will be the Bristol-based dynamic collective Mischa & His Merry Men.
