Bridge City Sinners Announce “New Year’s Evil” US Tour & Share “Spears & Blades” Live Video

Bridge City Sinners have announced the New Year’s Evil Tour, a four-show run with support from Riley Downing (The Deslondes) and Roselit Bone. The dates begin December 30 in Boise and include a New Year’s Eve hometown show at Portland’s Roseland Theater, followed by stops in Bellingham and Vancouver. The new announcements arrive as Bridge City Sinners prepare to return to the UK and Ireland for the Repent Repeat tour, beginning September 30th in Brighton. Later in October, the band will bring its Trick or Treat shows to the West Coast before joining Streetlight Manifesto for three Texas dates in November. The band has also released a new live video for Spears and Blades, filmed in one continuous shot from the stage by Ryys during a show in Cologne, Germany. 

With banjo, fiddle, guitar, upright bass and ukulele, Bridge City Sinners draw from old-time jazz, Appalachian folk and punk. Their live shows mix eerie ballads with loud, rowdy singalongs, a combination that has taken them from Punk Rock Bowling Festival to Muddy Roots and Oregon’s Bluegrass String Summit.
