Calabrese Announce New Album, Post Video

Phoenix horrorpunk trio Calabrese have announced that their new album, Lust For Sarcrilege, is due to drop on January 13th via Spookshow Records. The record,the band’s seventh full length, represents their first new material since 2013’s Born With A Scorpion’s Touch and ahead of the release they have posted a video for the track Flesh And Blood.

Bassist & vocalist Jimmy Calabrese has said this about the inspiration behind the new record:

 “Lust For Sacrilege is not so much a lust to destroy religion or anything like that…On a personal note, it’s more about breaking what we thought was sacred or we couldn’t do. We’re breaking down walls and making darker music, which we haven’t done before. The band is going in new directions. It’s a special album for us.”
