Cardinals-Pride-PromosQuebec City based metalcore band Cardinals Pride have signed on with New Damage Records. Their first release for the new label will be an EP titled Those People Never Die, due to drop on September 4th. Ahead of the street date, the band have teamed up with Revolver to stream EP’s lead single Refracted.

Vocalist Alexis Pare has said this about the track and signing on with New Damage Records:

“Refracted is one of the heaviest song we’ve ever written…we wanted that song to sound like a ton of bricks from start to finish without a break and I think we’ve achieved our goal. We chose to release “Refracted” first because we felt like it shows what a typical Cardinals Pride song offers…Refracted is basically about being uncomfortable with the vision other people may have of your own future.”

“We are beyond excited to join the New Damage Records family…they are incredibly hardworking people and it feels good to have the support of such a great team. Also, their roster is filled with amazing bands and it’s a nice feeling to see our name next to theirs. We are looking forward to see where this partnership will lead us.”
