“I’m delighted to share a brand new song with you, ‘Queen Of Fitting In’. This is the second single from my fifth studio album (which went to the pressing plant this week). It’s a song about masking. Behaving in a way that you think other people will find more palatable. Hiding your true nature because you’ve been told too many times that you’re ‘a bit weird’ and don’t fit in. Does this sound familiar? It’s certainly been my experience throughout my entire life! You can stream and download the song here on Bandcamp, and do have a looksie at the accompanying music video, filmed in a laundrette in Huddersfield, and created once again by the awesome Rob Heilig. The video also stars Rosie Mitchell and Susan Jones, two of my fabulous actor pals. The song was produced by amazing Dave Draper, who also played guitars, bass and drums. I hope you enjoy it. If you do, please spread the word!” (Carol Hodge)
