Catbite Team Up With Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump On New Single “Tired Of Talk”

Philadelphia, PA’s Catbite have shared their new single, Tired of Talk, that is taken from their forthcoming EP, Doom Garden, that is due out on the 9th May, the track features guest vocals and trumpet by none other than Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy). Adding to the all-star cast of collaborators, Catbite recruited animator Sam Grinberg (The Simpsons / Adult Swim) to create the music video for the song. And, utilizing the magic of green screens, the members of the band, as well as Patrick Stump, are able to enter into this black and white world of Grinberg’s creation. Catbite will also be hitting the road throughout 2025, both domestically and internationally, including a number of festival appearances as well as dates alongside Yellowcard, Hot Water Music, Less Than Jake and Comeback Kid, you can view Catbite‘s tour dates here.

“When we were writing, we felt this song would be the perfect opportunity to introduce a guest vocal. At the top of our list of people to ask was Patrick Stump. Collectively, we are all huge fans of Fall Out Boy, and specifically Patrick’s vocal style. We knew it was a HUGE stretch, but we found a way to contact him, shared the song, and crossed our fingers and toes. By the miracle of ska, we got a reply from Patrick saying that he loved the song and would love to sing on it.
