Cousin Betty Unleash “Death & Taxes”

Despite the world’s crisis over the past 2 years and the physical distance between all five members of Cousin Betty they have managed to sneak in the requisite amount of time together to churn out another take-no-prisoners single, Taxes & Death. The single follows on from their first EP, Left, which yielded three singles and gained international attention, and the Overs EP. The band thought it was high-time that they put the work in for an actual album. While the self-titled release can be expected in the first quarter of 2022, Taxes & Death is the blistering, nihilistic taste of their punchier side.

Having learned the mistakes of signing to inactive and selfish record labels, here they are; agitated, aggressive, refined and focused. In a time where few world leaders can be relied on to say anything sensible, it would seem that President Franklin perfectly articulated at least the stark reality of what we all have in common, but Cousin Betty have set it to music.
