Death Makes Brothers Of Us All is a multi-media experiential project led by AJ Pantaleo (Baked, APMD) and D’Andre Tyre (A Wake in Providence) that came to life when Pantaleo invited Tyre to a recording session led by producer Steve Cipriano. When the two long-time musicians came together in the studio, they quickly realized the unique opportunity to fuse together their shared love of film and music. Over the following weeks Pantaleo and Tyre orchestrated five experimental movements, each with a visual companion. Through this audio-visual experience, Death Makes Brothers Of Us All transports its audience through a collection of themes explored in the movements, such as parallel universes, dreamscapes, and emotional intelligence (EI). You can view their debut video, We Are Brothers, and read more about the project below.

In addition to Death Makes Brothers Of Us All, Pantaleo and Tyre perform and tour with their respective bands. Pantaleo, a former member of Staten Island’s post-punk quintet Bueno currently records and tours with Brooklyn-based outfit Baked. Pantaleo also records and performs with former Bueno bandmate, Mike DiBenedetto, under the moniker APMD, an experimental, dual-sensory installation that can be seen this fall at the Staten Island Museum

Tyre, a producer in his own right, conceptualized and edited all visuals for the five movements of Death Makes Brothers of Us All. He currently records and tours with A Wake in Providence in which he is the primary songwriter and lead guitarist. Tyre’s engineering, mixing, and mastering experience has also led him to work with artists such as Myah and Watch Them Burn
