Defeater Detail New Full Length; Premiere New Song

Boston-based melodic hardcore band Defeater has announced details for their Epitaph Records debut.  Front man Derek Archambault’s explains how “One of the threads running through this record is how people sometimes look for the answers to their problems in the darkest places.”    The new album will be titled Abandoned andwas recorded earlier this year at guitarist Jay Maas’ studio, with drummer Joe Longobardi, bassist Mike Poulin and guitarist Jake Woodruff.  The disc is expected to drop on August 28, 2015. 

The new song “Spared In Hell” can be heard below.  The band last released Empty Days & Sleepless Nights in 2011 via Bridge Nine Records.
