Defeater Joins Epitaph Records

Boston-based melodic hardcore band Defeater has joined the Epitaph Records family.  The band is planning to release a new album in 2015 and will be embarking on their first U.S. headlining tour this spring.  Front man Derek Archambault comments: 

“Releasing a new album with a label I have bought records from for more than 20 years still doesn’t feel real. Like many of my peers, Epitaph’s 90’s roster was a big part of the soundtrack to my teenage years. Signing to Epitaph and a full U.S. tour this spring has the makings of a banner year for Defeater.”
 
The band last released Empty Days & Sleepless Nights in 2011 via Bridge Nine Records.
