The SoDa Poppers Drop New Single “Not Even In Your Wildest (Fuckin’) Dreams”
Johny Skullknuckles (The Kopek Millionaires / The Dead Beats / Goldblade) continues his musical adventures with The SoDa Poppers and their brand new…
With the release of A Billion Goats. A Billion Sparks. Fin. looming, Dez Dare‘s brain splits reality and takes to the sky in his latest video, Gotta Cold Feeling. Looking at the most mundane and consistent issues a human faces, he looks at a time when someone talked about something so boring, so long, it felt like time had fractured. It could be on a bus. At a pub. At work. We have all been there and in those times to save yourself, you need to take to your imagination, take flight, and have a weird adventure.
A Billion Goats. A Billion Sparks. Fin. features eleven songs that delve further into the void than previous records, leaving the sardonic frustration behind for sarcastic existentialism, zeroing in on the big philosophical questions, and the pedantic shards of nonsense that make up our existence. The self produced Australian has spent over three decades producing music, releasing and touring bands, and doing live sound for z-grade metal bands. Growing up in the coastal town of Geelong (Djilang) in Australia, he was introduced to the DIY punk and rock scene at 15 and this community and the ideas rooted in the underground music scene have guided his output and ethics throughout his career.

This year Dez Dare will be joining forces with label titans God Unknown Records and will be producing a deluxe version of the album on blob colour vinyl that includes a comic book illustrated by Mike Keane. In true nerd fashion the comic also features top 10’s by Dez Dare, Jason Stoll (God Unknown Records), Matthew Barnhart (Chicago Mastering Service), Mike Keane and the album illustrator MALMALL.
