Dirty Blonde have announced their new EP, Looking For Troublealongside the release of their new single, PollyDirty Blonde‘s latest track bursts onto the scene with grunge-infused guitar riffs that encompasses Pixies, Garbage and even Taylor Swift, it’s a sapphic anthem that captures the unpredictable thrill of falling in love. In the bold, unapologetic world of Looking For Trouble, it’s all leopard print, red lipstick, and leather jackets, a perfect backdrop for these girls who remind us that women in rock aren’t just part of the scene, they’re redefining it.

Tracks like Adore Me and Polly carry a sly charm, serving as the “nicer cousins” to the fierce anthems Checkmate and Rush, whist lead single, Northern Twang, stands as the powerful matriarch anchoring it all. Writing the EP was more than just a creative process, it was cathartic, offering a rare moment of reflection. The Looking for Trouble EP will be released on 17th April following the band’s UK tour for Independent Venue Week. The band will also be appearing at Liverpool Sound City in May.

“We wrote ‘Polly’ about that messy, crying on your bathroom floor, unpredictable side of falling in love that no one talks about. Someone can give you all the reassurance in the world but how do you know that it won’t all come crashing down?”
