Drunk Dial Records Announce “Fakes – Volume 1” Compilation

Drunk Dial Records have announced that they will release their new compilation, Fakes – Volume 1, on the 22nd April. Ahead of the release the label has now revealed two songs from the album, Suzi True’s version of Three Small Words and Personality Cult‘s take on Minivan Highway.

Fakes – Volume 1 is a compilation filled with real bands covering songs from bands that only existed in fiction such as Josie & The Pussycats, The Wonders and Spinal Tap. Fakes – Volume 1 will be printed on red shell cassette tapes and will also be available digitally, with all profits being donated to Doctors Without Borders. The label is already planning the second volume which will be released on digital and tape later this year.
