Manchester, UK’s bewildered, unorthodox five-piece Furrowed Brow have announced they will release their new single The Endless Shouting Tomorrows on the 4th November via digital platforms. The band will also be playing a hometown launch party for the single at The Peer Hat on Sat 6th November with support from Chemtrails and GirlCrush. The Endless Shouting Tomorrows hard-swerves into uncharted ‘gothic’ territory amid whiffs of Echo & The Bunnymen, The Cramps, Adam & The Ants, Iggy Pop and even – whisper it – early 70s Pink Floyd. Swooping down from the rain-soaked nether regions of Dracula’s underpants The Endless Shouting Tomorrows drops a huge uncanny effluence over the dead-eyed inanity of modern living: a wailing, flaunting groan of a song with Post Punk, Glam and Dark Wave convulsions. Primal rhythms, lurching synths, swirling guitars, desolate lyrics and a resolutely DIY aesthetic threaten all pre-packaged platitudes of the present.
