David Delinquent Releases “Scared To Spend” EP
Dundee’s David Delinquent (The Delinquents / David Delinquent & The IOU’s / Football, Beer & Punk Rock Podcast) has self released a brand new EP, Scared…
Leipzig Skate Punk outfit Skeetch have released their new single Loose Thoughts, the track is the first taste of their debut full length album that will be released later this year via Punkerton Records. Growing up during the golden era of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater soundtracks, the band draws heavy inspiration from genre-defining acts like Pennywise, Millencolin, Bad Religion and many more. Fueled by that same DIY energy, Skeetch are carrying the torch for skate punk and proving that the sound that shaped their youth is alive and well.
“Loose Thoughts” is the first single from our upcoming debut album [Will be announced at a later date] , and it’s all about the random thoughts that run through your mind. It’s a tribute to all the daydreamers out there and a reminder of how important it is to lose yourself in your thoughts, whether to spark creativity or escape negativity. It’s also about questioning everything whether it is your past, your choices, and the “what ifs” of life. What if things had turned out differently? What if everything changed? With a touch of humor, these lyrics are meant to make you reflect on your life while also reminding you not to take everything too damn seriously.” (vocalist Max Schlegel)
