Character Actors Release “Everywhere Is Good Except For Where We Are” EP
Leeds, UK's Character Actors have today released the Everywhere Is Good Except For Where We Are EP that is available…
Chicago post-punk band, Ghost Forest, are set to release their self-titled debut full length featuring drummer James Kimball (The Laughing Hyenas / Mule / Jesus Lizard), singer and guitarist Scott “Gub” Conway (Gauge / Even In Blackouts) and bassist Brant McCrea (The Streetwisemen). Ahead of the album’s release tomorrow, Friday December 9th, via Rot Studios the band have dropped the video for Buried Alive.
The album was originally planned as a 2020 release, but the pandemic put a hold on production. With some help from Joe Shanahan (founder of the legendary venue The Metro) they were able to start recording and tracked drums, and later finished the rest at Rot Shop in Chicago. The album was produced and engineered by Justin Yates and mastered by Doug McBride of Gravity Studios.
Ghost Forest are playing their record release show on Sunday, December 11th at Empty Bottle in Chicago with Salvation, Masonic Wave and Something Is Waiting and on December 30th they will appear at Reggies Rock Club with Interesting Bricks, Conan Neutron & The Secret Friends and Fresh Hell.
