Joy Buzzer Share New Single “I Wanna Scream”
New York City power pop purveyors Joy Buzzer have released their new single I Wanna Scream. From the start, the track explodes with the energy, fun and humor typical of the band’s output, apparently about a young man unable to cope with the advances of an admirer. With a winning combination of catchy hooks and jet fuel, Joy Buzzer has quickly moved up the ranks as one of New York’s premier power pop acts.
Inspired by bands such as Fountains of Wayne, XTC, Squeeze, Todd Rundgren and Badfinger, Joy Buzzer delivers an abundance of big-time melodies and blissful choruses. Recently signed to Wicked Cool Records, Joy Buzzer‘s I Wanna Scream comes hot on the heels of the band’s recent single, Judy Judy Judy, which dropped in March.
