Longtooth And Wasterman Reveal ‘Green Light’ Single

Leicester’s Longtooth & Wasterman, aka Greg and Karl, step up to become punk USB warriors, with influences driven by hip hop thumping beats & a love for punk. The duo had this to say about their new single ‘Green Light‘, “This is another track originally demo’d back around 2005 ish, Greg wrote his lyrics to a beat by Jez Q as ‘Q and the bud_’, releasing as we did back then to Myspace. This time, however, it got the L&W treatment, Karl got all heavy on the guitar, which led us to invite Fingers McFunk (Rich Blake) in for the second ‘was wah’ guitar and solo. We tried some electro beats but opted for the Bonham style drums and went all ‘Beastie’ on the words. There’s a couple of new verses of lyrics, Wasterman penned a line too! Bit of sidestep style wise but hey, we love it!”
