St. Petersburg, FL’s Lot Lizards have released their explosive new single, Surprise Party, the track is the second single from their upcoming debut full-length, The Horrors of Adulting, that is due out on the 25th July via Punkerton Records. Rooted in the spirit of 90s and 2000s skate punk, Surprise Party channels manic riffs, raw vocals and dark humor into a cautionary anthem about the chaos of enabling, and surviving, your closest friends. Inspired by a real-life visit from a disaster prone friend who showed up unannounced, trashed the house and wore out his welcome, the song reflects both love and frustration in equal measure.
“This song is about the things we do for good friends, and the frustration you feel while seeing them fuck up.” (vocalist & guitarist Jon Barnes)
