Loyal To The Grave Are “Striving Higher” On New Single

Long running Japanese hardcore band Loyal To The Grave are set to return with their first new music in seven years with the Rectitude EP. The five track release will drop May 17th on Triple B Records worldwide and Retribute Records in Japan. Ahead of the EP’s release the band have now shared their new single, Striving Higher. The track is a pummelling number exemplifying the metallic hardcore sound the band has been unleashing since 1998. Creative riffs and deep vocals meet a stomp-worthy breakdown, a precursor to the intensity found across the EP.

Rectitude was recorded by Devu and Gaku Taura at Devu Recording Studio, mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. This marks the Tokyo-based band’s fourteenth release and some of their hardest hitting music yet.
