The Manchester Punk Festival has announced it will return in 2022 after a two year absence due to the ongoing pandemic. The last year hasn’t been easy for anyone, especially within the live music industry which switched off overnight and has been left in the dark since. There are a number of volunteers and friends of the festival who’s full time jobs are within the industry. These people gave up their time every year to ensure things run smoothly at Manchester Punk Festival. Some of these people have been left without income for over a year, limited government help and an uncertain future.

Aware that the next edition of Manchester Punk Festival is still over a year away, the festival wanted to do something to show their support for the friends and volunteers of the festival and put a smile on their faces. The Helping Hand t-shirt is designed by Dan Flanagan (Matilda’s Scoundrels, Haest, Knife Club) and is available to pre-order until the 20th April with 100% of the profits going to support the friends and volunteers of the festival.
