Max Bemis’ emotional struggles should be no surprise to those knowledgeable of the history of Say Anything. Coupled with his bi-polar personality, it’s a wonder that the band is as prolific as ever (serving as a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit). That being said, Bemis has announced that he has come to the conclusion that he is, and always will be, completely committed to the band. However, he claims to have realize that the only way to maintain this attitude and path is with a split from his major label sponsor, RCA Records, and the accompanying pressures. With these burdens lifted, Bemis predicts that his new material will be his edgiest work since his break out hit, …Is A Real Boy.
