Mean Jeans Stream New Single “Something’s Going On”
Mean Jeans kick off 2024 by blurring the lines of reality with their latest single, Something’s Going On. The track is your one-way ticket to a mutant party, courtesy of a nuclear power plant spill and some seriously contaminated pot plants. Mean Jeans upcoming full-length, Blasted, is set to drop on February 9th and is available for pre-order via Fat Wreck Chords.
“If ever there were a movie made for the Mean Jeans, it would be Class of Nuke’ Em High (1986). If you don’t know it, the lyrics to “Something’s Going On” are pretty much a synopsis. A nuclear power plant spill contaminates some pot plants, the honors students turn into a psycho punk gang called The Cretins, and those who smoke the toxic weed get majorly mutated.
