Manchester Punk Festival Issues 40th Name Your Price Compilation
Manchester Punk Festival have released the 40th volume of their name your price compilation series via Bandcamp ahead of this year’s…
Troy, OH’s Miss May I has made known that they are planning to head into the studio this summer. The band has marked their calendar with August 14th as the day in which they will sit down with Terry Date (Pantera, White Zombie, Deftones) to begin work on their fourth studio album. Bassist Ryan Neff comments on the plan:
“Miss May I has been a wild ride for all of us since the beginning. From starting out in a basement in a small Ohio town, listening to our favorite bands, and just trying to play shows, all the way up to now, about to record our fourth full length album. As a long time fan, I am ecstatic to announce that we will be working with Terry Date on our next record. Growing up jamming Deftones, White Zombie, and Pantera, it’s a dream come true to be working with the man who helped capture some of their greatest work. As if that wasn’t amazing enough, we have Colin Richardson in to mix the record who is also a legend in the metal world. So you can all expect some heavy riffage coming your way next year!”
The album will follow 2012’s At Heart, and be available in spring 2014 via Rise Records.
