Moshiach Oi! Release Sophomore Album
New York hardcore act Moshiach Oi! has released a follow up to their 2009 debut, Better Get Ready. Their sophomore effort for the proudly jeish punk outfit is titled The World Is Nothing, released by Shabasa Records. The band comments on their inspirations and motivations:
“Our biggest sages were totally non-conformists: Rabbi Nachman taught that Abraham didn’t accept the social standards of his time, the status quo that was full of crap, because all the leaders, like the politicians, were liars. He wanted to smash it all; he smashed all the idols. That act was as punk rock as it gets!”
The band has released a music video for their song “Got Nothing On Me,” which features the band running wild through traditionally Jewish districts.
