Northvale Address Mental Health Issues On New Single “Hang In There Kid”

East Coast pop-punk crew Northvale have dropped a new single and music video, Hang In There Kid, via streaming platforms, the band have also released an age restricted video that can be viewed here. The raw and heart-wrenching look at issues of depression is a painstaking but important take on an illness that asserts it’s vice like grip on so many.

“Hang In There Kid” is a poignant exploration of despair and the brink of giving up, narrated through the lens of someone contemplating the finality of suicide. The song navigates the emotional turmoil and isolation that can lead one to consider such a drastic escape. Our collaboration on this song aims to spark conversations about mental health and the importance of support and resilience. With “Hang In There Kid,” we hope to reach anyone who feels overwhelmed, reminding them that there is strength in perseverance and that they are not alone in their battles.” (vocalist Keith Karol)
