The Punk Site is saddened to hear that Inger Lorre, born Lori Anne Wening, passed away on October 16th from complications due to recently diagnosed cancer. Inger Lorre was an accomplished singer, songwriter, recording artist, painter and a lover of animals, a singularly unique artist, both visually and musically, she first came to national attention with her band Nymphs, whose 1991 self titled album and 1992 A Practical Guide To Astral Projection EP were released by Geffen Records.

Her career as a solo artist began with the Transcendental Medication album, that was released by Triple X Records in 1999, with Kitten Robot Records releasing her final album, Gloryland, last year. She also released the Live At The Viper Room album via Sweet Nothing Records and released material as Inger Lorre & The Motel Shootout and Inger Lorre & The Chiefs of Infinity. The Punk Site sends its condolences to her friends and family.
