“When it finally hit me that we were going to be stuck at home for a while (you know like for a couple months), I decided to write a few songs just for fun. I wasn’t trying or even expecting to sit down and write this album, but over a period of a few weeks the seeds of these songs started pouring out of me. I decided to take my time and see where things landed as I crafted melodies, recorded, and re-recorded guitars. I hope most of the themes feel universal, however there’s no doubt that this record is my expression of life during extremely trying times.“
